The Community Police Forum (CPF) has received reports about con artists that are robbing shops and businesses in Jeffreys Bay. Three women, sometimes accompanied with children, other times not; enter a premises and engage the shop staff and keep them busy while robbing articles like laptops and cell phones from the shop.

A nursery school was also robbed in similar fashion when the women started making inquiries about the fees, availability and times of operation of the school, while robbing the place.

The African women are reasonably well spoken and are described as being confident and “do not appear to be crooks”. They are operational more in the Wavecrest area of Da Gama Road and should they be spotted, the community is urged to share the information on the Jeffreys Bay Face Book page
